It seems to be an interesting royalty free market place from Singapore and offer video, animations, motions, 3D and music. The most clients come from asia but a lot of sellers are from around the world.
The upload of files is total easy: upload, make a description, tags and ready. Here you have to set your own price. 50% you get for a non exclusice and 70% for an exclusive product.

The sound of the previews sounds good and the audio watermark in the preview sounds a little sexy :-)

When you have a sale, than you get the information about a few days later. This is a little strange. On other market places you get this information immediately.
But on the whole the site makes a good impression.

September was a really good month on audiojungle so I produced any new music tracks for audiojungle and pond5. Now I have to wait for approval or a rejection. On pond5 mostly I wait any hours or one day. On audiojungle I have to wait 4-6 days. This can be a long time sometimes.

Today I spend a lot time for my daughter. In the evening I will go to have a rehearsal with my band NECESSARY ROUGHNESS. What a nice day...

Today is a good day. It is sunday, the sun is shining, I'm drinking coffee and composing a new track. Today it is so easy to play a good melody and the chords. I think it will be a great track.

 

Later I will do a little for online marketing. A view weeks ago I created a new twitter account for four_track. So I will look for any new collaboration partners.  I'm not really good in online marketing and will try any new ways. Maybe twitter will help for this.

So - now I will go on with the new track.

my experiences with pond5

Pond5 is the biggest online market for video footage and offer for sale a lot of other media files, like after effect projects, images and music too. They have a big community and a lot of files.

My pond5 profile

My own status on pond5

Now I'm 8 weeks on pond5 and have currently 35 music tracks online. For a beginner like me it isn't easy to get views and sales on pond5. After 8 weeks I have nearly 100 views, 1/3 of my music tracks have no views and no item sale yet. In the forum of pond5 I red that many authors the first 6 month has no sales and the first sale was after 50-80 items online on pond5.

My impression

On pond5 it is easy to upload a new track. You make a track and with java or with ftp you can upload. You have to wait any minutes than your audio file has the pond5 watermark and than you can make your description, choose your tags from a list or write your own tags and send it for a review. Mostly a reviewer needs only 1 day for an approve or a reject. I have had 5 rejects so far. "...we currently have plenty of tracks of the similar type and we're not confident that yours will sell."

- fast reviews of the uploaded files

- you don't need to set the watermark of pond5 into the files

- you can choose the price for the file you will sell (audio track min 15$, effects min. 2$)

- they have a good community

- you get an e mail after every sale

Negative

- the sound of the audio preview files is really bad

- for beginners it's hard to get attention on pond5

What's next?

I love to make music and will go on. In the end of the year I will take a look if I'll stay on pond5.

not a good day for composing? Here any tips

Some days don't seem to be the best for composing. No new ideas for music or sounds. All attempts do not work. One or two hours you try everything but without good results.

Such a day seems to be for me today. No good ideas today and the worst my PC chrashed.

ok that was enough for me for now.

What helps against that?

1. drink a coffee and smoke a cigarette

2. often I do something completely different - reading, clean up the apartement, shopping, play with    my daughter or my cat etc.

3. after 1 or 2 hours I begin again to think of composing

4. when I have no good ideas I listen to other music or read about other composers or musicians

5. sometimes I analyze good tracks, listen to every instrument separately, try to find out which sounds work fine together..and so on

And then...

mostly I have ideas for new tracks

my experiences with audiojungle

Audiojungle is one of the biggest royalty free music places in the web and a part of envato. Envato is a big place for all media formats, web design, video audio, photo and so on. So you have with an audiojungle account an account on envato too. The envato market has 5.6 millions member and more than 8 mio items.

After 3 years of producing backing tracks on youtube with more than 1 million views a friend and a very big seller of the envato market asked why I didn't try produce music for audiojungle. So I started. I created an account on audiojungle, make my own profile on audiojungle. 

Now I have since 3 month an account on audiojungle. I have 3 items online and 5 sells. But I have to relearn produce music. All my knowledge of producing doesn't work. I've got a lot of rejections with my music. 

A few times I got a message "Unfortunately your submission Big Hope isn't ready for AudioJungle and cannot be resubmitted as it did not meet our minimum requirements for quality and/or Envato Market policies. In order for submissions to be considered for sale they must be of high aesthetic and technical quality, unique to our library and cannot be in violation of Envato's policies.

Ok that was really depressingly. A friend of my who produce promo music for big companies and for BMG Records has the same experiences like me on audiojungle. So I contacted any big sellers of audiojungle in a facebook group. They said to me my music is good but not suitable for audiojungle. The buyers on audiojungle don't look for songs or great musical works. They only search background music for videos or other media projects. 

I listen to a lot of successful items on audiojungle. They almost all have the same chord progressions, sounds very similar and don't have many humanize in this tracks. Every instrument is absolutly in the point, no 1/64 later or earlier, very mechanic. The most tracks are full of happiness. Some tracks sounds like my tracks with a hard rejection.

So I will try the next tracks produce like this successful tracks and will look forward the next month. I think audiojungle is a great place for sell music.
